Home fire started in the laundry room, no injuries reported

BAKER CITY – No injuries were reported in a home fire yesterday in Baker City. Initial reports suggest that the fire began in the laundry room of the home located on Chestnut Street. Baker City Fire Chief Sean Lee reports that there was no injuries to firefighters or civilians and that all pets were safe. There was extensive damage to the home. The investigation is ongoing.
