PENDLETON – The Pendleton Development Commission meets at 6 p.m. and the Pendleton City Council meets at 7 p.m. today (Tuesday). Both meetings are virtual and accessible via Zoom.

Under new business, the PDC will consider expanding its housing improvement program to include rental properties, funding for the renovation of the Happy Canyon Room at the Pendleton Convention Center, and a grant application for second-story work above Crabby’s Bar and Grill.

At the city council meeting, the process will begin on writing an ordinance that would govern the creation of reimbursement districts. Those would be created in instances when the city installs infrastructure for a new housing development and the developer wants such a district to be created to reimburse those costs.

The Zoom meeting ID for both meetings is 836 6352 2386 and the pass code is pend97801.
