WALLA WALLA – Walla Walla Community College will share insights on its 2021 planning process during an online community forum on April 15 from 5-6 p.m. Earlier this year students, faculty and staff completed a climate and needs assessment. In addition, members of the community were asked to respond to an online survey.

WWCC received more than 760 responses which were considered by the college’s Governance Council, Executive Leadership Team, and Strategic Planning Task Force.

“Our strategic planning is designed to assess the needs of our communities and students and to guide our future development and growth,” WWCC President Chad Hickox stated. “It’s been vital for the college to hear from our students, faculty, staff, and community stakeholders.”

The college is focusing on three main goals. They are providing a high-quality education; remain fiscally sound and sustainable; and be welcoming, inclusive, supportive of, and responsive to all communities it serves.

The college has created a website for its 2021 strategic plan at https://www.wwcc.edu/strategic-planning/. People who are interested in attending the forum are asked to register in advance at https://wwcc-edu.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_rTqBWw-TRP2XIQa5YBo5Gw.
