LA GRANDE – (Information provided by the La Grande Police Department)  Tuesday night at approximately 1:00AM, the La Grande Police Department received several reports of possible gunshots in the area of the 26th Street and the Sundowner Trailer Court in La Grande.  Officers immediately responded and searched the area, but were unable to find anything suspicious at the time.

Wednesday morning at 7:58AM a resident of the 2900 block of Misty Avenue in La Grande reported that they found several bullet holes to the front of their residence which had entered the home, causing damage.  Officers learned that the residence was occupied by 3 people at the time of the apparent drive-by shooting, but no one was injured.  The early investigation indicates this was not a random drive-by shooting and this particular residence was targeted.  Officers from the La Grande Police Department are conducting an active and ongoing investigation.   Anyone who has any information about this incident is encouraged to contact Senior Officer Ryan Bernards at the La Grande Police Department at 541-963-1017.
