Wallowa Basketball coach resigns, will focus on role as school principal

WALLOWA – Wallowa County High School girls’ basketball coach, David Howe, resigned during a board meeting early this week. According to Tammy Jones, Superintendent of Wallowa Schools, Howe will have more time to focus on this role as the High School Principal. Many in attendance of the board meeting showed support and concerns on Howe’s role as coach. There was no comment from the board members.
