Dayville School welcomes new superintendent

DAYVILLE, OR – (Press release from Dayville School District 16J)

The Dayville School Board is pleased to announce and welcome Mr. Brandon Haberly as the new superintendent/principal of the district effective July 1, 2021.

According to board chair, Casey Fretwell, “Mr. Haberly has been hired to be the new Superintendent/Principal for Dayville School District 16J. We are excited for the new year and for Mr. Haberly to join our wonderful community and school.”

Mr. Haberly is currently the assistant middle school principal in Pleasant Hill, Oregon. He has held a variety of roles including principal in the Yupiit (AK) school district, physical education specialist and athletic director in North Douglas and South Lane school districts. Mr. Haberly received his master’s degree in

Secondary Education from the Grand Canyon University, Phoenix, AZ and his administrative license from George Fox University in Newberg, OR.

“I would like to thank the Dayville School Board for the opportunity to join their team and serve our students, staff and community. My family and I are extremely excited. I will arrive July 1st ready to listen, learn, and get connected as quickly as possible.”
