COVID-19 vaccine clinic delayed in Grant County

JOHN DAY – According to Community Counseling Solutions Director Kimberly Lindsay, the weather event in the southern U.S. has impacted Grant County’s vaccine shipment for this week. Apparently, our doses are sitting in Memphis and there is no estimated time as to when they will ship.
The Grant County Health Department and Blue Mountain Hospital must cancel the vaccine clinic that was scheduled for Monday, February 22nd. Health officials hope to reschedule the clinic to a day later in the week. Folks who have questions are encouraged to call the health department at 575-0429.
