Looking for firefighters and EMS personnel

ISLAND CITY – The La Grande rural fire protection district is gearing up for their volunteer firefighter and EMS recruit academy training. Chief Kretschmer said this is a rewarding service to the community. Interested persons can pick-up an application at the fire station on McAlister Road in Island City.
