LA GRANDE – The American Red Cross held a La Grande Community blood drive, this week with another great participation of La Grande and surrounding areas citizens. Sheldon and Linda Strand coordinators, was hoping for 160 units, but was extremely pleased with a two day total of 158.
The Strands said, some cancellations were due to icy conditions, but the community is enthusiastically is in support of the blood draws and new donors are coming in all the time. The next blood draw is scheduled for March 30th and 31st.
