Council to hold work session

WALLA WALLA – The Walla Walla City Council has a work session set for 4 p.m. today (Monday). The meeting is streamed live on the city’s website. There are two items on the agenda.

The council will discuss regarding possible amendments to the wireless communication facilities code that allows for wireless communications facilities when residential zones on non-residentially used lands, for example churches using stealth camouflaged design and technologies.

The council will also hear a presentation by Transportation Engineer Monte Puymon on the potential reconfiguration of Rose Street. The project would rework the street form its current four lanes to three lanes and bike lanes.
