PENDLETON – The Pendleton Development Commission meets at 6 p.m. and will convene as the Pendleton City Council at 7 p.m. today (Tuesday). The meetings are available via Zoom.
At the PDC meeting, Chamber of Commerce Chief Executive Officer Cherie Rosenberg will present details of a plan that would see urban renewal money used to save downtown restaurants on the brink of going out of business. When the idea was put before the PDC at its last meeting, the commissioners instructed economic development staff to join forces with Rosenberg to come up with a plan.
Following the commission meeting, the Pendleton City Council will convene. A first reading and a public hearing are set on the proposed change of the city’s street stamp amendment.
Both meetings can be accessed on Zoom. The meeting ID is 836 6352 2368 and the pass code is pend97801.
