It’s a busy day for WWPS board

WALLA WALLA – The Walla Walla Public Schools Board of Directors has a full schedule today (Tuesday). It will hold three meetings, but only one is open to the public.
The directors will gather for an executive session that will last from 1-4 p.m. Another executive session is scheduled for approximately 7-7:45 p.m. In between those is the regular school board meeting from 5:30-7 p.m.
The regular meeting includes a number of regular reports including presentations by Superintendent Wade Smith and Student Representative Jaden Bergevin. The board will also hear the latest update on how bond construction is progressing and a report from the outside consultant who studied how to safely reopen each school building in the city.
