Burns to swear in new councilors

BURNS – Three councilors are to be sworn in at tonight’s Burns City Council meeting. Newly elected councilors Jennifer Keady and Heather Smith will take the oath of office, along with Judy Erwin who vacated her seat for several months to serve as interim city manager. The agenda also includes an update on the city’s Water Master Plan from Anderson Perry & Associates, and a street vacation request on East Madison. The meeting begins at 6 p.m. in the council chambers of Burns City Hall.
