Fewer positive cases allow k-12 sports to practice

LA GRANDE – According to the La Grande School District, the district has fallen into a category within Oregon Metrics for Schools, which allows sports, clubs and activities to practice and gather. The La Grande School will follow all safety guidance to ensure the safety of coaches, advisors, and students.This week, Union County Emergency Services announced, it is a possible that Union County could move to the COVID-19 Moderate Risk Level on January 15. Preliminary data is based on case counts, and as Union County moves into the established Warning Week, it appears likely that Union County will move to a lower risk category.
