EASTERN OREGON – Senator Lynn Findley (R-Vale) has announced his committee assignments for the upcoming 2021 Legislative Session. According to a release by Senator Findley he will serve as Vice Chair of the Senate Energy and Environment Committee, and on the Senate Finance and Revenue, Joint Transportation, Joint Tax Expenditures committees and the Joint Committee on the Interstate 5 Bridge.
In that release Findley said, “I appreciate the Senate leadership appointing me to those roles during the 2021 legislative session. There are a number of critical issues we must address for Oregonians and I look forward to the work ahead to ensure that constituents of Senate District 30 are being served well and well represented in the legislature.”
In addition to serving on the 2021 Legislative committees, Findley serves on the Emergency Board and in July, was appointed to Governor Brown’s Health Schools Reopening Council and the COVID-19 Liability Work Group.
Findley represents Senate District 30 which encompasses Malheur, Harney, Grant, Baker, Wheeler and Jefferson Counties, and parts of Lake, Wasco, Deschutes, Clackamas, and Marion Counties. He served as the state representative for House District 60 during the 2019 session before being appointed to the Senate in January 2020 and elected in November2020.
