*Our reported acreage comes from the ICS-209, the official source used across all incident updates and posted on InciWeb to maintain consistency. Infrared mapping flights often occur overnight and can produce updated perimeter data that appears sooner on platforms like Watch Duty. Those numbers can sometimes be useful for situational awareness, but we publish only the acreage that has been verified for accuracy.

CURRENT CONDITIONS AND PLANNED ACTIVITIES
Paradise Fire
Firefighters continue to strengthen and improve existing control lines, assess and implement direct fire line where possible, and mop up hotspots. Efforts remain focused on securing the fireโs perimeter, especially in priority areas like the Mill Creek drainage and around the water intake system, along Forest Service Road 65, and close to other natural and existing barriers that have stopped the fireโs spread.
Hagen Fire
The increase in acreage reported since Monday reflects fire spread within the fireโs footprint. Firefighters will continue to mop up across the Hagen Fire on Tuesday, as well as using a wide variety of aircraft in inaccessible areas to identify hotspots that can be cooled by aircraft. They will also remove water handling equipmentโportable pumps, hose lays and collapsible/portable water tanksโand demobilize excess resources that can be released to wildfires with greater needs, especially given the forecast rainfall over the next few days.
WEATHER AND FIRE BEHAVIOR Tuesday will continue to be hot, dry and breezy, with a risk of isolated thunderstorms in mid to late afternoon and extending into the evening. High temperatures will reach 74-78 degrees with humidity between 27 and 31%. Winds will be 6-12 mph with gusts to around 18 mph, peaking between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. A 55% chance of showers and a 15% chance of thunderstorms is forecast for this evening, with wind gusts reaching up to 23 mph. Fire behavior is expected to be mild to moderate.
