75 Medication Lockboxes handed out and 20lbs of medications collected

BAKER CITY – 75 lockboxes were handed out during the first Medicine Lock Box Event in Baker City recently. According to Haley Huckman with New Directions Northwest, this event was very successful in the eyes of organizers. This event also included a Drug Take Back Day in partnership with the Baker County Sheriff’s Office that resulted in 20 lbs of medications being turned in.
