75 and counting: Morrow County K-9 Telly celebrates major milestone

HEPPNER – The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office team of K-9 Telly and Patrol Deputy Colleen Neubert recently celebrated their 75th live find, capture, or suspect surrender.
The two seem to make the news on a regular basis for their success in tracking and apprehending suspects.
In a recent deployment, the duo assisted Oregon State Police following a crash. The driver fled the scene on foot prompting the K-9 team to respond. Working alongside OSP and the Boardman Fire Rescue District’s drone team, Telly tracked down the suspect who was taken into custody.
“Congratulations to Deputy Neubert and K-9 Telly on this milestone and for their continued dedication to serving Morrow County and keeping our communities safe,” Morrow County Sheriff John Bowles said.
