57 Mountaineers Tabbed to CCC Spring U.S. Bank Academic All-Conference Team

LA GRANDE – (Release from Eastern Oregon University Sports) The Cascade Collegiate Conference announced its 2022 Spring U.S. Bank Academic All-Conference selections Tuesday morning. Being recognized are the student-athletes competing in the spring sports of baseball, men’s and women’s golf, softball, and men’s and women’s track and field.
Eastern Oregon racked up 57 Academic All-CCC selections between baseball, softball, and men’s and women’s track & field. To earn recognition as an All-CCC Academic honoree, a student-athlete must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 and be of sophomore standing.
Leading the way for the Mounties was women’s track & field with 17 selections, followed by the men’s squad with 15. Baseball was third with 13 selections, with softball rounding out the group at 12 selections.
For the academic year, EOU tallied 130 Academic All-CCC selections across Fall, Winter, and Spring. Including the 43 Academic All-Frontier selections for football, Eastern racked up 173 individual academic awards for the 2021-22 academic year.
