52 OTEC customers lose power in John Day outage

JOHN DAY – Fifty-two Oregon Trail Electric Cooperative meters were affected by a power outage in John Day on Monday afternoon. According to Shane Stenquist, OTEC Communications Manager, “It was a small, short outage which was fixed by replacing two fuses.”
Stenquist reports the outage lasted only 66 minutes, and crews quickly reported to the incident. To report an outage, folks are asked to call OTEC’s 24-hour hotline at 1-866-430-4265
