$5,000 reward for information in Grant County theft

JOHN DAY – Grant County Sheriff Todd McKinley has provided an update on the theft investigation currently underway. A $5,000 reward has been offered from a donor who wishes to remain anonymous, for information that leads to the return of property and the arrest and conviction of the suspects involved. The theft occurred last Saturday morning, March 30th, between midnight and 6:00 am between Childress Loop and Bragga Way off Highway 26, west of John Day. The suspects would have been seen loading the stolen property into a vehicle—what it is, has still not been released. Again, the reward for information is $5,000. Update on 3/30/24 theft


The Grant County Sheriff’s Office has received an offer of a $5000 reward from a donor who wishes to remain anonymous.


This reward is for information that leads to the return of property and the arrest and conviction of suspect’s involved in the theft during the early hours of March 30th between Mt. Vernon and John Day.
