5 days in jail, probation and fine for theft

CANYON CITY – Grant County Circuit Court documents indicate that a man will spend five days in jail on a theft charge.
Thomas Edward Pfeifer, 53, pleaded no contest to Theft in the Third Degree, occurring in January of this year. Pfeifer was sentenced to 120 hours in jail along with 12 months on Bench Probation. He was also ordered to pay a compensatory fine of $50 to Huffman’s Market.
The “no contest” plea came in on April 3rd.
