4th Avenue repairs could be complete by Thanksgiving

JOHN DAY – John Day City Manager Corum Ketchum was on KJDY’s Coffee Time recently and said depending on the weather, the 4th Avenue repair project should be wrapping up soon:
“The big project nearing completion here is the 4th Avenue street repairs. Weather dependent, we should have that road graveled and ready to go by Thanksgiving. By next week, the contractors will be up to street grade. That project was repairing the hillside that had sloughed off in the flood.”
