BURNS – Two community organizations in Harney County have been announced as grant funding recipients in the latest round of Oregon Community Foundation grant awards.
The High Desert Partnership is set to receive $25,000 to help with providing mentorship, consulting, and project collaboration for rural communities in the Burns area.
Also, Rimrock Recycling of Burns will receive a $20,000 award to create outside storage for shipment-ready recycling materials.
The grant awards are part of a $322,617 boost to communities throughout Eastern Oregon.
