45 days in jail on driving charge

CANYON CITY – A man will be jailed on a driving charge, according to Grant County Circuit Court documents. Matthew John Nelson, 43, pleaded guilty to Criminal Driving While Suspended or Revoked. Nelson was sentenced to 45 days in jail and ordered to pay a $1000 traffic fine.
The crime was committed in February of this year.
