3,000 Trout are bound for Morgan Lake in the next two weeks

LA GRANDE – Anglers in the La Grande area will be keeping busy soon. As part of the Monthly trout stocking schedule, the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife will be stocking 3,000 fish in Morgan Lake between now and June 6. 1,750 trout will be stocked this week, and an additional 1,250 trout will be stocked between June 2 and 6.
Also, on the schedule for June is 1,725 trout bound for Anthony Lake from June 2-6, 9,500 trout headed to Phillips Reservoir May 26-30, and 7,500 trout along with 300 trophies slated for Wallowa Like between June 16-20.
