3 juveniles arrested in connection with robbery and assault

WALLA WALLA(News release from WWPD) The Walla Walla Police Department has arrested three juvenile suspects in connection with a robbery and assault that occurred in the early morning hours of October 16, 2025, in the alley behind the 100 block of Malcolm Street in Walla Walla.

At 2:30 a.m., officers responded to Providence St. Mary Medical Center after hospital staff reported treating a 19-year-old male victim who sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The incident was initially reported as an assault but was later determined to be a robbery involving multiple suspects.

Detectives identified three juvenile suspects during the course of the investigation. Two male juveniles — 15 and 16 years old, and a 14-year-old female, all from Walla Walla — were arrested for their involvement.

A search warrant was executed at a residence in the 100 block of Malcolm Street, where evidence connected to the robbery was recovered, including items belonging to the victim.

The suspects were booked into the Walla Walla County Juvenile Justice Center on probable cause for Robbery in the First Degree, Assault in the Second Degree, Theft in the Third Degree, and Malicious Mischief in the Third Degree.

The investigation has led detectives to believe the incident was gang related. The case remains active and ongoing. Due to the age of those involved, no further identifying information will be released at this time.
