24 Mounties Named 2023 Daktronics NAIA Football Scholar-Athletes

LA GRANDE – (Release from EOU) The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics has recently unveiled the 2023 Daktronics NAIA Football Scholar-Athlete list, recognizing the academic excellence of student-athletes across the nation. Eastern Oregon stands tall as a representation of scholarly achievement, with 24 football players earning this honor.
The 2023 list showcases a total of 968 student-athletes from 79 schools, each boasting a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.5 at their respective institutions while appearing on the eligibility certificate for their sport after one full year at their institution.
