UNION COUNTY – Initial results from yesterday’s Union County 4H radio auction on 104.7 KCMB total $22,228 plus over $2,500 in cash donations.
This year’s event looked a lot different than in years past. Unlike years past, this year’s event was a four-hour, one day event. 379 items were up for bid ranging from homemade goodies to Pizza for a year, a chance to draw LOP tags and much more.
Carol Smith with the OSU-Union County Extension Office joined, via zoom, Elkhorn Media Groups Shannon McKone, Braden Way and Paul Hall live on 104.7 KCMB for the four hours to announce all the items, values, and current bids, while operators took calls and bids for the items.
