Eastern Oregon – Independence Day is almost here! For those planning on celebrating, see a list of 4th of July event schedules from across Eastern Oregon and Southeast Washington below:

Boardman

  • Downtown parade and celebration at Boardman Marina Park
  • Fireworks over the Columbia River at Dusk

Haines

  • Haines Stampede Activities, Stampede Grounds
    • Parade at 10:00 A.M.
    • Rodeo at 1:30 P.M.
    • Fireworks at dusk

Hermiston

  • Bute Park family activities
    • Funland Playground and splash pad open all day.
    • 3:00 P.M.
  • Butte Park live music by Wasteland Kings
    • 6:00 P.M.
  • Hermiston Family Aquatic Center activities
    • Pool party includes dinner. Must buy tickets from Hermiston Parks and Rec online by July 3rd.
    • 6:00 P.M.
  • Butte Park fireworks show
    • Fireworks show from the top of the butte.
    • 10:00 P.M.

Ione

  • 5k Walk and Run, car show & kids activities
    • 7:00 A.M.
  • Main street parade
    • 1:00 P.M.
  • City fireworks show
    • Begins at dusk

Imbler

  • Fun run and breakfast, Imbler School parking lot
    • Breakfast from 7:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M.
    • Fun run registration at 8:15 A.M., begins at 9:00 A.M.
  • 4th of July Parade
    • Line up at 11:00 A.M., school parking lot, parade begins at 12:00 P.M.
    • Parade participation by arrival, no registration needed

Milton-Freewater

  • Celebration at Yantis Park
    • 5k Walk or Run & DJ Music
    • Lasts all morning

Monument

  • City fireworks show over the river at dusk

Ontario

  • Fireworks Show at Malheur County Fairgrounds,
    • begins at 10:20 P.M. mountain time

Pendleton

  • VFC Let’er Buck Post 922 Independence Day Parade at Pendleton City Hall
    • 10:00 A.M.
  • Community Celebration at Roy Raley Park
    • 11:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M.
  • FIREWORKS Location change: The city has moved the fireworks display from the lot beside Walmart to the north side of the Pendleton Round-Up Grounds due to combustible materials in the vacant lot. The River Parkway in that vicinity is closed from SW 18th Street to Roy Raley Park. Roy Raley Park is open for spectators.
    • 10:00 P.M.

Stanfield

  • Coe Park community events
    • Fireman’s breakfast, three-on-three basketball tournament
    • Parade at 10:00 a.m.
  • City Fireworks show
    • Starts at dusk, presented by Umatilla County Fire District Number One.

Union

  • Vendors on Main Street
    • 6:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M.
  • Cornhole tournament at Buffalo Peak Golf Course.
    • 5:00 P.M.
  • Thunder at the Peak Fireworks Show at Buffalo Peak Golf Course
    • Begins at dark

Wallowa Lake/Joseph

  • Shake the Lake Fireworks Show
    • North end of Wallowa Lake at 10:00 P.M.

Wildhorse Resort & Casino

  • Weekend powwow July 4-6 at Wildhorse Resort & Casino
    • Opening and grant entry July 4 at 7:00 P.M.
    • Grand entries will continue at 1 p.m. on July 5 and 6.

Walla Walla

  • City of Walla Walla Community Fireworks Display at Walla Walla Community College
    • 10:00 P.M.
