2023 Union County Farmer Merchant Banquet awards announced

UNION COUNTY – The 74th annual Union County Farmer Merchant Banquet was held last week at the La Grande Armory Conference Center. In addition to the $5,670 raised for the Farm Bureau FFA Scholarship Fund, along with over a thousand dollars in general donations, the 2023 banquet award winners were announced. Congratulations to:
- Fred Bell: Forest Steward of the Year
- Jace Eisiminger: Yong Farmer of The Year
- Ruth Ann Bowman: Ecological Restoration Award
- Sky Huber: Good Steward Award
- Phyllis Bechtel: Ag Women of Union County
- Wayne Herron: Cattleman of the Year
