2-Week Step Challenge at Baker County Sheriff’s Office ends with a total of 4,683,992 steps

BAKER COUNTY -During the month of March, the Baker County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) did a two-week March Madness Wellness Challenge.  The step challenge resulted in an impressive number of steps totaling 4,683,922 steps.

According to BCSO “Employees were placed on teams and capped at 10,000 steps per day. Of course there were twists thrown in…teams could earn extra points for taking photos while out walking and for walking with members of another team. Even Deputy Daisy joined in on the fun!”

Team totals were as follows: 

Team Downing – 1, 429,825 steps

Team Ash- 1,115,483 steps

Team Wray- 1,094,491 steps

Team Wirth- 1,044,113 steps
