LONG CREEK / FOX – The first wolf depredation of 2024 has been recorded in Grant County. According to the latest ODFW Livestock Depredation Investigation documents, on March 11th, a 2-day old bovine calf was found dead on private land within Fox Valley of Grant County.
It was determined that the calf was killed by unnamed wolves in the Northside Wildlife Management Unit. Nothing further was released regarding the depredation. Stay posted; we’ll provide Grant County wolf updates as they come in.
