2 from Wallowa County perish in Washington crash

ASOTIN COUNTY – Two people were killed in a single vehicle crash on Washington Route 129 at milepost 21 four miles north of the Anatone city limits this afternoon (Friday).

The Washington State Patrol reports that they were in a 2003 Chevrolet Blazer that left the roadway and rolled. WSP does not know which of the two was the driver. The report states that it is unknown who was the driver and seat belts were not used.

Rayford G. Guillory, 70, of Wallowa was declared deceased at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. Diana R. Harvey, 65, of Lostine was declared deceased at the scene. Next of kin notifications were made by the Wallowa County Sheriff’s Office, according to the report.

The investigation into the crash is continuing. WSP believes that drugs or alcohol played a role.
