2 Baker County Commissioner races are contested

BAKER COUNTY – Three Baker City residents have filed for position 3 on the Baker County Board of Commissioners, while two have filed for position 2.
Position 3 candidates are Joseph C. Johnson, Dan Garrick, and Shane Alderson. Johnson is a dispatcher for the Baker County Sheriff’s Office. Garrick is a self-employed builder and contractor. Alderson is the owner of Baboon Creek Outfitters.
Position 2 sees Kody Justus running against Christina Witham. Justus is a ranch owner and operator. Witham is the owner and sign maker for Oregon Sign Company.
