17th Street in Baker City closed today to all traffic

BAKER CITY – (Information from Baker City Public Works) Baker City Public Works will be performing a sewer lateral repair on 17^th Street today starting this morning at 8:30 a.m.  17^th Street will be closed between Court Street and Broadway Avenue.  No traffic will be allowed to pass.  The repair work is expected to take all day.  17^th Street will remain closed overnight while the asphalt surface cools.  The Street is expected to be opened to regular traffic by 8 o’clock Wednesday morning.  Emergency Services have been notified of the closure.  If you have questions, please call 541-524-2020.
