12th Street closure planned for La Grande beginning January 13

LA GRANDE – (Release from La Grande Public Works) City of La Grande Public Works will be closing the 1000 and 1100 blocks of 12th Street, from Washington Ave to J Ave., beginning Monday, January 13, 2025. This closure will be to update all water services inside the work area in preparation of an upcoming paving project. This area will remain closed for the duration of the project (approx. two weeks). Please use alternative routes and detours to avoid the project area. Property owners inside the work zone may have limited access and may be required to park on side streets during the project.
