10 EOU Women’s Soccer Athletes Picked as Daktronics Scholar-Athletes

LA GRANDE – (Release from Eastern Oregon University) The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2022 Daktronics NAIA Women’s Soccer Scholar-Athletes on Monday. Eastern Oregon had 10 athletes make the list.
The athletes that made the list are graduate student Cassidy Quick, junior Darby McDevitt, junior Kana Mateaki, sophomore Gracie Hoover, junior Megan Gustafson, sophomore Chloe Flynn, senior Yahaira Chavarria-Mondragon, sophomore Madeline Barker, and senior Lindsay Balkenbush.
In order to be nominated by an institution’s head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
