WWSO responds to fatal crash

The following is a news release from the Walla Walla County Sheriff’s Office
On January 28, 2022, at approximately 1:30 am there was a one vehicle rollover collision on Heritage Road near the intersection of Old Highway 12, approximately 2 miles west of Walla Walla.
The lone occupant of the vehicle, the driver, Dustin A. Harshman, 38, of Walla Walla was ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene.
Walla Walla County Sheriff’s Office Deputies requested the assistance of the Washington State Patrol. Walla Walla County Road Department personnel also assisted with traffic control.
The initial cause of the collision at this time is speed, alcohol and drug involvement are pending awaiting further tests.
Next of kin has been notified.
