WWPD welcomes two new K9 partners

WALLA WALLA – The Walla Walla Police Department is welcoming two new furry officers to their force.

Walla Walla Det. Nick Palmer has picked up his new narcotics K9 partner Daze, a yellow Labrador. Currently, Daze is trained to detect methamphetamine, heroin, and cocaine.

Another new member of the WWPD is K9 Hoss, a Belgian Malinois, who will partner with Officer Eric Eastman. Hoss is trained in apprehension and will serve on patrol with Officer Eastman.

Both dogs are close to being certified.
