WWPD investigates robbery

News release from the Walla Walla Police Department:

On June 2, 2022, at about 11:30 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 300 block of North Division for an armed robbery that just occurred. The 911 caller reported that three subjects entered their home, committed a robbery, and fled the area.

Due to the proximity of one of our local schools, officers ordered the school into a
lockdown mode until they could get the scene secure, and area checked. During the
search of the area, officers did not locate any of the suspects. Walla Walla Major Crimes
Detectives and Task Force Detectives are still actively investigating the crime scene and
performing follow up. Detectives feel this was a targeted incident.

One adult female was transported to the area hospital for treatment. No other information
is available on extent of injuries.
