WALLA WALLA – Starting a week from today on Jan. 2, 2024, the Walla Walla County Courthouse will have a single point of entry for the public to access the offices within.

Entry will be on the east side of the courthouse next to the clerk’s office with signage directing those visiting the courthouse to that point. Once inside, all visitors will be required to go through a security checkpoint on the ground floor.

Once past security, visitors are free to conduct their business as needed within the courthouse facility. Visitors will exit the courthouse the same way they entered on the ground floor just to the right of the security checkpoint.

Handicap access is in the rear of the courthouse building, along with marked handicap parking spaces. Handicapped visitors will enter through the rear doors between the jail and the courthouse, then be directed through the security screening.
