BAKER CITY – (Information from the Baker County Sheriff’s Office) Each year during the second week of April, National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week is celebrated. This week is set aside to honor the important work done by these individuals each and every day.

911 professionals answer your call 24/7. They have helped deliver babies, walked frantic callers through CPR, deescalated situations, and brought hope to those on their worst days. Dispatchers are the FIRST first responders.

The Baker County Sheriff’s Office expresses our sincere gratitude for their outstanding service and dedication to the public that they serve.

Please join us in recognizing our outstanding Dispatch Division!
