BAKER COUNTY – A motorcyclist was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants (DUII) after being found lying on the center divider of Interstate 84 in Baker County, according to the Oregon State Police.

On June 9, just before midnight, Trooper Grant Jackson responded to a call about someone lying on the center divider at milepost 340, south of Lookout Mountain.

Upon arrival, paramedics were transporting the rider, identified as 33-year-old Nicolas J. Bellina, to a hospital in Baker City. Bellina’s motorcycle, a black Harley-Davidson FLHX, was parked against the center divider and was subsequently towed.

Trooper Jackson reported that Bellina, whose address is unknown, was under the influence of controlled substances, leading to the DUII citation. No other injuries or damage were reported.
