Saint Alphonsus Medical Center asks for a retraction on a Declaration

Baker City – (Information provided by Saint Alphonsus Medical Center) Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Baker City has requested the Baker County Board of Commissioners print a retraction removing reference to Saint Alphonsus Medical Center – Baker City from the County’s Declaration of Local Emergency announced on September 22, 2021. The request was made because the declaration was inaccurate in reference to the hospital, and the hospital was not notified nor asked to participate in any discernment or action as implied by the declaration.
