PENDLETON – Round-Up is in the air. People who have not signed up for the Main Street Cowboys Dress-Up Parade may do so today. Registrations are being taken from 4-8 p.m. at the Pendleton Convention Center.

The parade itself begins at 10 a.m. Saturday. It starts at Pendleton City Hall, heads down Dorion Avenue to the Umatilla County Courthouse, and then turns to head for Court Avenue, ending at the convention center. It’s an easy route to figure out, as the Main Street Cowboys helped by the Blue Mountain Community College softball team have lined the route with those distinctive chartreuse and purple benches.

The carnival will open Wednesday, but arm bands are on sale now. They are available at Abby’s Pizza and D&B Supply on Southgate and at the Pendleton Chamber of Commerce at Main and Fraser. The armbands cost $32. That will go up to $38 once the carnival is open.

The Round-Up & Happy Canyon Concert will feature country stars Craig Morgan and Clint Black in the Happy Canyon Arena at 7 p.m. Saturday. The Round-Up office reports that most of the best seats have been sold, but tickets are still available. They can be purchased at the Round-Up office or online at https://www.pendletonroundup.com/p/tickets1/kick-off-concert-tickets.
