Plane crashes at Ontario airport, pilot survives

ONTARIO – (Information from Ontario Fire & Rescue) Ontario Fire Department, Ontario Police Department, Oregon State Police and Treasure Valley Paramedics are on scene of a plane crash at the Ontario Municipal Airport.

A single plane crashed on the runway while attempting to land. The single occupant and pilot was able to self extricate and is receiving medical treatment. The fire has been extinguished at this time.

The runway will remain closed for several hours while the investigation is conducted.
