Peppers Bridge Road project begins Monday in Walla Walla County

WALLA WALLA – Walla Walla County Public Works will close Peppers Bridge Road between Old Milton Highway and J.B. George Road starting at 7 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 9 for road construction.

The $1.7 million project from mileposts 0.36 to 1.61 will widen the roadway and provide paved shoulders. Two vertical curves will also be reconstructed to meet current sight distance standards.

Emergency medical services and local traffic will have access. Peppers Bridge Road is scheduled to re-open in mid-December.
