Oregon Athletic Trainers’ Society (OATS) chooses Harney District Hospitals Kaitlin Patterson

HARNEY COUNTY- Harney District Hospital is please to announce that their very own, Kaitlin Patterson, received the Oregon Athletic Trainers’ Society (OATS) Young Professional Award.
This once-in-a-lifetime award was designed to recognize young professionals in the athletic training field who:
• embody and contribute toward the ideas, goals, and mission of OATS;
• demonstrate a high level of service, professionalism, and competence in their place of work;
• maintain the highest level of honor, respect, and integrity in their professional setting and community;
• demonstrate initiative, leadership, and the ability to inspire other professionals;
• directly benefit the profession of athletic training; and
• demonstrate extracurricular activities, work-life balance, and time-management skills.
Only one athletic trainer is chosen for this prestigious award in the entire state of Oregon!
ATS selected Kaitlin to receive the Young Professional Award in April 2024. However, the award was recently presented during the halftimes of the Burns and Crane high school football games.
