Man jailed 30 days in Grant County on escape charge

CANYON CITY – A man will spend time in jail on an escape charge, according to Grant County Circuit Court documents. Jared Jerell Baker, 28, pleaded guilty to Escape in the Third Degree, committed on or around November 14^th of this year.

Baker was sentenced to 30 days in jail, placed on Supervised Probation for 18 months, and ordered to pay a $250 fine. One count was disposed with no conviction.
